Terms & Conditions

1). All drivers must have a full UK driving licence.

2). The minimum age for hire is 21 - maximum age is 75.

3). If you have a drink driving or dangerous driving offence we can insure you but this will cost extra on the insurance premium usually only a few pounds*.

4). The following documentation is required on collection of any vehicle : Driving Licence. One other form of identification i.e: recent utility bill, bank statement etc. verifying current residential address.

5). Prices include taxes, breakdown cover, unlimited mileage and insurance, there is no extra charge. We do not provide fuel, you pick the vehicle up with little fuel and this is how to return it, white Diesel only (Petrol when stated).

6). Damage Excess is £500 (more if below 25 years of age)*.

7). Penalties and charges incurred for late return, which will also be deducted from credit/debit card used for payment of hire vehicle. In some case’s we may charge a cleaning fee if we deem it to be necessary i.e: if it looks like they have been off roading!, or interior has been misused.

8). Sunday night returns are between set times. Weekday evenings also available.

9). Parking facilities available on site. Please note, all vehicles parked at Swift Van Hire's premises are entirely at the owners' risk.
